Reasons why paper does not feed when printing barcode labels

In daily work and life, we often encounter problems when printing barcode labels with barcode printers. These problems include barcode printers not feeding paper, paper jams, no ink, etc. Now let's talk about the reasons why the barcode printer does not feed paper.

1. There are too many printed papers. Before printing, check whether the installation of the printing paper meets the standard. For example, whether the position of the printing paper exceeds the arrow mark on the left guide rail of the barcode printer. If it exceeds, the printing paper must be reduced.

2. Foreign body blockage. The method that can be taken is: observe whether there are foreign objects inside the bar code printer. For example, if there is a paper jam in the barcode printer, it will lead to the phenomenon that the paper will not be fed. If there is a foreign object, it must be taken out. When taking it out, the power of the barcode printer must be turned off first, and then carefully remove the foreign object. If it is to remove the jammed paper, you must slowly pull out the jammed paper along the direction of the paper output. After removing the jammed paper, check whether there is any remaining shredded paper to ensure that even the shredded paper is removed.

3. The printing paper is damp. If the printing paper used has been stored for too long, and the surface will feel damp, then the paper will not be fed, so the printing paper must be dried.

4. If you are using an inkjet barcode printer, the indicator light of the black ink cartridge or the color ink cartridge will flash or stay on, indicating that the ink is about to run out. If the ink cartridge is empty, the barcode printer cannot feed paper. There are many reasons why the barcode printer cannot feed paper, so it is necessary to judge whether it is the above reasons according to the situation on site.
